RJD2 in the SAV

RJD2
On January 12 at Live Wire Music Hall, Savannah was jumping to the beats of world famous dj RJD2 . In between stints behind the turntables, RJD2 got behind the mic and fronted his live band Soul Postition. The evening was capped off with a classic performance from Savannah hip hop giants Dope Sandwich. Thanks to RAABSTRACT for photos from the evening.

ALMOST FAMOUS: NOTCOT showing some love

HEBERMEHL and Dr. Z on NOTCOT.org
Today was a big day for me and my partner in crime Dr. Z. We had the honor of being featured on the international design and art blog NOTCOT.org. If you’re not familiar with NOTCOT, it’s a blog that links to sites around the globe featuring the best and newest in architecture, fashion, jewelry, art and everything in between. Needless to say I’m a daily vistor to the site and am honored to make the cut. In the eternal words of Sly Stone, “…You can make it if you try.”
DR. Z and HEBERMEHL video projection montage on VIMEO
iLLmotion Projections 2009 from WHACK media design on Vimeo.
Over a three week span in October and November me and my “artner” in crime James Zdaniewski, aka DR. Z, blasted a series of video projections onto the unsuspecting walls of Slowvannah, GA. At first we did it for our own amusement but people have overwhemingly responded positively to our shenanigans. So due to popular demand me and the good doctor have gone back into the lab to create more illaborations for our, errr, your enjoyment. Next time you’re out on a Savannah night don’t forget to look up…me and the doctor might be gettin’ ill with our projection skill.

We’re not quite all the way there yet but please keep stopping by. In the near future there will be a link for e-commerce so you can buy HEBERMEHL art and products 24/7. Thanks to everyone who’s supported me and my work over the years, and to all newcomers, WELCOME. Let’s get ill together,
Matt Hebermehl
