I had the recent pleasure of creating the artwork for Savannah Hip Hop band KidSyc@Brandywine’s brand new EP, “The Capitol Records Sessions.” Last year KidSyc@Brandywine won a recording session at Capitol Records in Los Angeles sponsored by the Georgia Lottery. “Social iLLumination” interactive projection Friday Jan. 21

Hebermehl x DrZ x The Other Fabio present the first performance of their interactive projection Social iLLumination Friday , January 21 from 5 – 7 P.M. at the Jepson Center for the Arts , 217 W. York Street, Savannah, GA.  Social iLLumination is an experiment in visual chaos by tapping into Twitter to randomly generate projected animations.  Viewers can interact with the projection by tweeting with the hash tag #SoiLL or watch the animations online. The project is in conjunction  with the Telfair Museum’s Pulse Art and Technology Festival.

HEBERMEHL at the JEPSON CENTER

Mark your calendars for Thursday September 23. 2010. That will be the opening night of my six month installation  at the Telfair Museum’s  Jepson Center for the Arts in Savannah, GA.  The show , “Birds in Flight,” will consist of a series of birds suspended from the atrium of the Jepson Center.  The show will run through March 2011. Hope to see you at the opening, Sherman might not have burned Savannah down…but I might.
